Eligibility Criteria
To ensure the success of RIMFEST 2025, we're looking for volunteers who meet the following criteria:
Age Requirement
Must be 18 years or older by August 1, 2025.
Education
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Availability
Must be available for at least 3 days during the event period (August 18-22, 2025).
Time Commitment
Able to commit to a minimum of 4 hours of training prior to the event.
Language Skills
Proficiency in Arabic, French, or English (multiple languages preferred but not required).
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to participate in an interview process (online or in-person)
- Enthusiasm for Mauritanian culture and the arts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and responsible with a positive attitude
Interview Process
Selected applicants will go through a simple interview process to determine the best fit for various volunteer roles.
Application Review
Our team will review your application to ensure you meet the basic eligibility criteria. This typically takes 1-2 weeks after submission.
Interview Invitation
If your application meets our requirements, you'll receive an email invitation to schedule an interview. You can choose between online or in-person formats based on your location and availability.
Interview Session
The 30-minute interview will focus on your interests, skills, and availability. We'll also discuss specific volunteer roles that match your profile and answer any questions you may have.
Final Selection
Within one week after your interview, you'll receive an email notification about your acceptance status and next steps, including training schedules and role assignments.
