Who Can Apply?
RIMFEST welcomes applications from qualified media professionals interested in covering the event. Each approved media outlet may send up to two representatives.

- Radio stations
- Online news platforms with verifiable audience
- Recognized blogs focusing on culture, arts, or Mauritanian affairs
- Documentary filmmakers
- Photojournalists with published portfolios
Non-Eligible
- Personal social media accounts without professional media affiliation
- Newly created websites without established audience or content history
- Non-media businesses seeking promotional opportunities
- Individuals without media credentials or publishing history
Media Team Composition
Each approved media outlet may send up to two representatives to cover RIMFEST 2025. Typical team compositions include:
- Reporter and photographer
- Videographer and interviewer
- Journalist and sound technician
- Single multimedia journalist (for smaller outlets)
Note: Note: If your coverage requires additional team members due to the nature of your media format, please indicate this in your application with justification. Special requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Coverage Rules & Guidelines
To ensure a smooth experience for all attendees and media representatives, please adhere to the following guidelines when covering RIMFEST 2025.
General Guidelines
- Media badges must be worn and visible at all times
- Respect the privacy and personal space of all attendees
- Follow instructions from RIMFEST staff and security personnel
- Do not block walkways, exits, or audience views during coverage
- Obtain verbal consent before interviewing or photographing attendees
- Maintain professional conduct throughout the event
Important Notice
By applying for media access, you agree to comply with all guidelines outlined above. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in the revocation of media credentials and removal from the event. All media content must be used for the purpose stated in your application and must not misrepresent the event or its participants.

Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on:
- Relevance of media outlet to event themes
- Audience reach and engagement
- Quality of previous coverage (if applicable)
- Completeness of application
- Available capacity (limited spots)
Important Information
Due to high demand and limited capacity, we cannot guarantee approval for all applications. Early submission is encouraged as applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
If your application is approved, you will receive detailed information about credential pickup, press briefings, and interview opportunities. If your application is not approved, we will notify you and provide feedback when possible.
